Description
The LC-170 thickness gauge can measure the thickness of non-conductive cladding on metallic surfaces and ferromagnetic metals (e.g., iron, nickel, cobalt) without measuring the thickness of iron, stainless steel surface paint, or galvanized layers, as well as the thickness of plastic films on aluminum and copper surface paints.
LC-170 built-in magnetic sensor and eddy current effect integrated probe, with a measurement range of 0~2000m and the measurement accuracy of ± (2.5% + 1μm), and its resolution is up to 0.1μm. When measuring, the user only needs to fit the probe and the end quickly, the surface of the measured object. In the process of inserting the probe into the equipment, the equipment can automatically distinguish the substrate properties and measure the thickness of the coating (plating) layer.
The LC-170 features a streamlined menu and data display interface that displays average, maximum, and minimum values and indicates data overruns with alerts. In addition, the device contains large-capacity memory. During the measurement process, the equipment can count and record the measurement results. The recorded data can be transmitted to the computer via the USB data cable.
